Cloudsoft will once again be attending OpenStack Summit, this year in lovely Boston, Massachusetts. We will be giving two talks at the conference this year:
CEO Duncan Johnston-Watt will be speaking in a session with Azmir Mohamed, IBM Bluemix Private Cloud Offering Manager to discuss why Cloudsoft selected Bluemix Private Cloud two years ago and how the recently announced Bluemix Private Cloud with Red Hat option has extended the value Bluemix Private Cloud brings to the market.
The talk will be held on Tuesday May 9th from 3:40-4:20pm EST located at the Hynes Convention Center - Level 2 - MR 208.
Engineer Robert Moss is giving a talk on Deploying Cloud Foundry Services to OpenStack with the Apache Brooklyn Service Broker which is a contribution to the Cloud Foundry Open Source Day at the OpenStack Summit which is one of several Open Source Days.
In this talk, Robert Moss will give examples of services from a range of NoSQL and analytics platforms in the Apache Brooklyn catalog. He will show how to use existing components in the Brooklyn ecosystem to create new Cloud Foundry services that are deployed to OpenStack and autonomically managed by Apache Brooklyn.
This talk will be given on Monday, May 8, 3:40pm-4:20pm at Sheraton Boston Hotel - 3rd Floor - Commonwealth.
