Cloudsoft has been busy growing its commercial footprint with IBM as Big Blue goes all out to get partners and ISV applications up on SoftLayer.
Cloudsoft’s AMP application management platform is targeted at enabling organizations to develop, deploy, and manage applications and entire PaaS environments across multiple clouds.
It has also added Docker support to AMP and has submitted Brooklyn, the open source underpinning of AMP, to the Apache Foundation.

If it can demonstrate meaningful commercial progress in its IBM relationship, Cloudsoft should be able to draw down funding at a greater valuation than it had been looking at in 2013.
Acceptance into Apache will help drive a community for its cloud application migration and management software.
